Ekofisk mods deal done

Bergen Group has bagged a significant maintenance and modification contract on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to revitalise the Ekofisk field for ConocoPhillips.

A new framework deal has been landed by Bergen Group Rosenbeg for future modifications of installations within the Greater Ekofisk Area.

“The scope of the agreement is not defined, but the frame agreement opens up of  for activities ranging from pre-studies to complete total contracts (EPCI),” the contractor declared today in an Oslo Stock Exchange announcement.

Bergen's new Ekofisk deal runs for two years from now until the end of 2010, and includes optional for a further four years.
