Finance chief to leave TGS

Arne Helland, the chief chief financial officer of TGS is to leave the company next year and a search is to start for his replacement.

Helland has signalled his intention to resign from the company with effect from 1 May nest year, “to pursue other opportunities,” said TGS.

Robert Hobbs, TGS chief executive paid tribute to Helland, saying in an Oslo stock exchange statement today: “We appreciate the many years of service that Arne has given to TGS.  He will be missed and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
