EOG results due out

US-based EOG Resources which already has one successful oil discovery under its belt which was drilled in the UK offshore sector in the Eastern Irish Sea plans to announced its fourth quarter results later this week.

EOG, which had a 100% working interest in the 11 m bbl net oil discovery and which is slated for first production in 2012, is due to report its fourth quarter results on Wednesday this week.

EOG plans to drill two additional prospects in the same block during the first quarter this year, and also plans one Central North Sea well this year.
