Cladhan well coming
Published 30.07.2010 13:10:17 by John Bradbury
Operations on the UK North Sea Cladhan exploration well are expected to start time time next week one of the drilling partners has indicated.

EnCore, which has 16.6% equity in the prospect, says the JW McLean semi-submersible is expected to commence drilling on Cladhan towards the end of next week, some time after 2 August, or early the following week commencing 9 August, after it has completed operations on its current well.

ADTI is managing the rig for the drilling operation.
Last December EnCore confirmed that the Cladhan well in block 210/29a and operated by Sterling Resources would be testing a potential extension of the original Cladhan discovery, which encountered a stratigraphically trapped reservoir with a 110 ft (33 metres) oil column.
