Ok risk management on Statfjord B
Published 15.03.2010 08:38:34 by Elisabeth Kolstad
Statoil emphasizes risk management, the PSA found after carrying out an audit at Statfjord B.
The audit comprised management and organisation of simultaneous operation and modification emphasizing on risk and competence. The PSA found one nonconformity: a drip tray or similar device for recovery of combustible fluid was not installed under the vessels. "Pims Web, which is a tool for identifying risk (the risk profile), was used in connection with the onshore planning, but we had the impression that the tool was only used to a limited degree offshore and was little known on Statfjord B, "the PSA writes. The Overall Risk Analysis (TRA) for Statfjord B was also fairly unknown, and was not used to identify risk. ![]() No new money: KNOCKNOC has confirmed it will not put any more money on the table to try and complete its hostile £1.67 Bn (US $2.57 Bn) takeover of Dana Petroleum.
