Dolphin rig selected for Andrew
Published 22.06.2010 09:16:48 by John Bradbury
Fred. Olsen subsidiary Dolphin Drilling has landed a new deal for the Borgholm Dolphin semi-submersible rig commencing the first quarter next year.

Dolphin said the rig has been contracted by BP Exploration for new work in the UK sector of the North Sea under a nine-month drilling deal worth an estimated US $55 million.

The Borgholm Dolphin will be working at the Andrew field field, and the contract includes an option for a further nine months which if exercised will bring the contract value up to $79.5 million.
