OK for West Venture

Seadrill's West Venture dual-derrick semi-submersible has been approved by Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority for further drilling on the Troll field. Statoil has been given the green light by the PSA to use the West Venture for production drilling, delineation and “observation” wells as well as for completion, intervention and well workover assignments, as well as plugging and abandoning wells on the Troll Oil field.
